This is a powerful and timely reflection, Dan. The level of division in churches today is truly concerning—and it plays right into the enemy’s plan: to distract us from our true mission of spreading the gospel. I completely agree that it’s important to call out fellow believers who misuse the Bible or the name of Jesus, as we sadly see happening in many churches today. But it’s equally important that any rebuke is done in love and humility. That’s the example Jesus set—firm in truth, yet full of grace. If we lose love in our correction, we risk becoming part of the problem rather than a light in the darkness.
Absolutely brother! Jesus is the example set before us. He did not disown or shun His disciples. He prayed for them and loved them and walked with them. Thank God that He doesn't withhold the grace from us that we withhold from the rest of the Body.
