Thank you all so much for your wise words! The helmet of salvation is a great reminder of His saving. Thank you for the prayer of Ephesians 6:10-18. Sometimes, I don’t always know what to pray before leaving home and my prayers can be rushed. I’ll say I started saying this prayer before leaving home or even before entering into a place and it felt very different.
Spiritual warfare is real. I have battled several obvious attacks, and they scare me more in hindsight because I can only see what they were truly about once I got through them. From them, I learned what many of you alluded to, which is that focusing on God and His power, His promises, and our Armor is the only way to come out victorious. I went for Deliverance Ministry many years ago, and that was exactly how they ministered to me. It was incredibly profound and not at all what I had expected, which was an exorcism. They focused primarily on the omnipotence of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the sacrifice of the Son. It was quite beautiful, honestly. I know now that I do not need to fear because the blood of Jesus covers me, the life of the Spirit is in me, and the Father made me for Himself. We are already victorious, but also need to be on guard. Such is the Christian life.
