A Deeper Exploration of Exodus

Exodus is a story of redemption, deliverance, and the formation of a covenant relationship between God and His people. This pivotal book demonstrates God’s power, faithfulness, and desire to dwell among His chosen nation, Israel. Through its narrative, Exodus reveals profound spiritual truths about God’s nature, humanity’s need for salvation, and the foundations of worship and obedience.

The Author of Exodus

Like Genesis, Exodus is traditionally attributed to Moses, the divinely appointed leader of Israel. Moses’ unique position as God’s spokesperson, deliverer, and covenant mediator lends credibility to his authorship. The events of Exodus reflect firsthand experiences, and Moses’ direct encounters with God at the burning bush, Mount Sinai, and the Tabernacle reinforce the divine authority of this account.
