Christmas Morning
This morning, as we celebrate Christmas, let’s take a moment to reflect on the wonder of what it truly means. From the very beginning, God created Adam and Eve to walk with Him in perfect fellowship, surrounded by His glory and love. Yet, through their choice, separation entered—a deep chasm between God and humanity, a darkness that engulfed the earth.
But God never abandoned them. He covered their nakedness with garments of sacrifice, promising redemption would come. And today, we celebrate the fulfillment of that promise: Jesus, the Light of the world, piercing the darkness.
Think about it—this child born in a humble manger wasn’t just a baby. He was the Creator stepping into His creation to rescue us, to bring us back to Himself. Where Adam and Eve hid in shame, Jesus came to remove our shame. Where sin created separation, Jesus came to bridge the gap, reconciling us to the Father.
Christmas morning is the dawn of hope, the breaking of light into the darkness. The same God who walked in the garden now walks with us through His Spirit. The same love that covered Adam and Eve now clothes us in righteousness through Jesus Christ.
This isn’t just a story of the past—it’s our story. We were lost, wandering in the shadows, but the Light has come! We are redeemed, not because of anything we’ve done, but because of what He has done. He is the God who steps into our mess, the God who restores what’s broken, the God who calls us back into His embrace.
So today, let’s rejoice. Let’s let the light of Christ shine in us and through us. Let’s remember that Christmas is not just a day—it’s a declaration that darkness will never overcome the light. Jesus has come, and everything has changed.
Merry Christmas! Walk in His light today, knowing you are redeemed, loved, and restored.
